About the Author

In the spring of 1999, a spark of creation within me began as I played among the creek bed. At that moment, I discovered the words I needed to use to describe the wonderful feeling I had for that beautiful spring day. I quickly ran to my Pappy, who was watching from his porch. I told him exactly what I wanted to say. He smiled, "Greer that was poetry." From that moment, I knew I wanted to write.
